Ord River Borlotti Beans

Ord River borlotti beans are a niche product that are known for their high quality. The fresh beans have a distinct maroon speckle on a white background. The older the beans, the more the white background converts to a cream colour.

There are only 3 farms in the region that produce Ord River borlotti beans each season. Production is kept at a level to ensure the quality is always fresh.

Once harvested, the beans are sent to the Ord River District Co-operative, where they are cleaned, graded and bagged in 25kg bags, which are then distributed Australia-wide.
